Barcelona World Race: The commitment with the environment, one of the cornerstones of the FNOB
Saturday, 02 February 2013
Next February 5th at the Barcelona World Race Interpretation Centre, the book "Commitment with the environment" will be released. The book has been published by the FNOB in collaboration with UNESCO and will be available on the Barcelona World Race and FNOB’s websites from February 15th. Besides presenting the environmental actions undertaken by the Foundation during the Barcelona World Race and other sporting events, it exposes the intention of the FNOB, fully in line with that of the IMOCA. This is to continue developing new ways of collaboration regarding the respect for the environment, renewable energies and new technologies, as much as in the boats, as in navigation and in the organization and development of their own race.
