USA. Fishing tackle manufacturer U.S. Reel assigns Walker Agency to handle public relations

U.S. Reel, the St. Louis-based manufacturer of innovative fishing reels has retained the Walker Agency of Scottsdale, Ariz., as its public relations agency of record, according to U.S. Reel President Fred M. Kemp.

U.S. Reel is one of the fastest-growing companies in the fishing industry. Its revolutionary SuperCaster lightweight, wide0spool spinning reels quickly caught the attention of major fishing editors and anglers for their superior performance in casting distance, improved drag and a wide-spool technology that drastically reduced line twist.

Kemp noted, “We’ll be adding more fuel to the growth fire by introducing our radical new casting reel without a performance-robbing traditional levelwind. The enthusiastic reaction from buyers at the summer ICAST indicated it will be a major seller in 2009.
