Bouwe Bekking and TELEFONICA BLUE arrived to Boston at 21:23h GMT of Sunday, 26 of April (17:23h local time), less than one mile behind Ericsson 3. This meant achieving a third place and adding 6 more points to the basket.

Straight away after jumping from the boat, Bouwe answered the first big question: Happy?. “Yes and no –Bouwe said. Yes, because we beat Puma, meaning we are back into second place overall. And no because we could have won this leg. But this is sailing, and at the end of the day you have to see the big picture and say: hey, it could have been worst, and there is still a long way to go. Then is when you realise you have to be happy.”

Bouwe is enjoying now the time with his family, but will tell us about the ins and outs of this leg tomorrow.
