Gas Turbine Systems (Mechanical) 3rd Class Landon Scobey and Gas Turbine Systems (Mechanical) 1st Class James Wainio perform maintenance on a gas turbine engine aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Ross (DDG 71). Ross is conducting naval operations in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of U.S. national security interests in Europe.
