On the 4th of January professional sailor Lia Ditton set out from the Canary Islands in a 23-ft rowing boat bound for Antigua in the Atlantic Rowing Race

She had joined the race at the last minute when a place opened up on ‘Dream Maker’ with Detective Inspector Mick Birchall. Seeing it as perfect training for the Barcelona World Race 2010
