CGC Neah Bay breaks ice in the Grand River
CLEVELAND - U.S. Coast Guard cutter Neah Bay begins its transit into the mouth of the Grand River to conduct ice breaking operations in an effort to prevent river flooding. The ice breaking operations were a coordinated effort by the U.S. and Canadian Coast Guards, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and local and state agencies.
