PACIFIC OCEAN (June 5, 2015) An AH-1W Super Cobra attached to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (31st MEU) attempts a touch and go on the flight deck of the dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48) during flight quarters.

Ashland, part of the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group, is assigned to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
