An MV-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 265 (Reinforced) takes off from the flight deck of forward-deployed amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). Bonhomme Richard is the lead ship of the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group and is assigned to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
