... Some 2,000 yachts make Dunkirk their stopover. There are 560 spots spanning three ports, which are available to berth your boat year round: the commercial basin, the Navy basin and the Grand Large port. Added to this, ‘visitor’ berths can be accessed in all of the former.
Once you’ve negotiated the lock gates to access the two basin marinas, you can relish what is a fairly unique location in metropolitan France, as you’re very close to the shops as well as being at the very heart of the town. Meantime, the Grand Large port benefits from direct access to the shores of Flanders and the English Channel.
